Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, have successfully foiled an attack by ISWAP terrorists, killing no fewer than 38 insurgents in the early hours of Saturday, March 28, 2026.
💥 Attack Meets Strong Resistance

During and after the confrontation, about 38 terrorists were neutralized. While eight bodies were recovered at the scene, local intelligence reports indicated that over 30 additional bodies were scattered along the Garin Mallum–Garin Gajere axis into the Timbuktu Triangle.
Blood trails and abandoned equipment further confirmed the heavy casualties inflicted on the insurgents.
