Fidelity Bank has announced the departure of Mrs. Morohunke Bammeke from her role as Independent Non-Executive Director following the completion of her tenure.

According to a statement dated April 30, 2026, and signed by Company Secretary Ezinwa Unuigboje, her tenure officially ended on April 30, 2026.


Board Appreciates Her Contributions

During her time on the Board, Mrs. Bammeke played key roles across several committees, including:

  • Board Audit Committee
  • Board Information Technology Committee (Chairperson)

The Bank’s statement confirmed that her retirement was approved in line with corporate governance policy.

Fidelity Bank Capital Update

In a related development, Fidelity Bank recently announced the outcome of its private placement exercise.

The Bank offered 14.8 billion ordinary shares at N17.50 per share. However:

  • 12.97 billion shares were successfully allotted
  • Total value stood at N227.05 billion
  • Subscription rate reached 87.7%

The final figures were confirmed after verification by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
